Lino, that really sucks. People are such "expletive", they probably laughed as they drove off. I have had that happen to me, I park SOOO far away from stores now, its probably overkill.
I was once lucky enough to catch a Lonestar Steakhouse employee rip off a customers bumper cover in their parking lot when she was going on a break. She just drove off like it was nothing - looked at the person's bumper and kept going.
I grabbed the manager and told him if he didnt call the police to file a report, I would. He was hesitant, so I volunteered to make a scene in the restaurant to find the person who owns the vehicle. So he called them, we found the owner, the girl came back from the store, TOTALLY DENIED IT after I retold the story right in front of her and the car's owner, etc. After the cop found paint on both vehicles that match one another, she ended up getting ticketed for it and a ticket for lying to a police officer.
If you see someone doing this and driving off and can do something about it, it's invigorating.
