Well, we sat in traffic for hours to get out, and the Q was trouble free. My wif and I had walkie talkies while I drove the Q and she drove her 4runner. We rented a beach house at port st joe florida at cape san blas...we got to see the backside of the hurricane as it approached LA. You guys here helped me fix the old girl to perform as needed...I love my damn Q. I'll keep you guys posted...hope my house still there.

OK, no more irrational outbursts about a 14 year old car!

Glad you all made it safe to your vacation spot.

Thanks for the concern Jay. Well, we HAULED ARSE home from the cape to NOLA...I still have no power at the house, but my house is aok...just my fence is gone-pecawn. I'm at my mother in law's house for tonight. My passenger side ac fan bearing is starting to squeal a bit....that's it. Didn't someone post a how to on it? I need to search it. Aside from that, the Q was like a bat outta hell. Even amidst a gas crisis during an evac, I REFUSED to use ethanol...green friendly biotches...lol. My plenum veteran knuckles and my fuel rail OBJECT. I used super all da way with only Shell, Texaco, Amoco, and BP. We are reopening at K-Paul's tomorrow so we should be packed, especially for the Saints game on Sunday. We'd better kick the #$% outta Tampa Bay! The dome will be rockin. The Q needs a wash and Im gonna re-apply dielectric grease to all connections under the hood given I was in a salty environment for awhile. I'll keep y'all posted. Peace out. Boris GO SAINTS!!!!

PS...People evacuating in Big SUV's on 26" wheels loaded down with family, pets, and valuables are HI-larious. The gold toof sportin douchebag had the nerve to complain about his gas mileage at the gas station in Alabama...non physics takin Tahoe sportin dumbass...

i'm partial to Prejean's myself---but it has been a while.got a used a/c pulley for the price of shipping if you can't get one from IoS.but i think they're only $40ish (yes you can order pulley only).
