Just purchased a 92 Buick Roadmaster with 115,000 on it, the old man that previously owned it took great care of the car, he had the tires rotated at every oil change and ran mobil 1, transmission flushed once a year, and he gave me reciepts for everything he did since day 1, I wish it had the LT-1 but thats ok it still runs and rides great, after I go thru the car it will eventually get handed over to my mother, but first I want to enjoy it a little bit, nothin like a big GM rear wheel drive beast, 6 speed conversion and a LT-1 swap and what a car it will be.:D

Come over to cadillacforums, the roadmaster and the fleetwoods are essentially the same car!! Thers a guy there that has done a 6spd conversion on his 96 fleetwood....

When it comes to cruising, there isnt anything like a big RWD GM.....

Thanks WES, it was your talk of the GM rwd cars that made me go to the CADDY Forums, once I seen what these guys had going on I was hooked, that Fleetwood with the 6 speed conversion is a really nice car, as well as all the Impalas and Caprices running in the 12s, the Roadmaster has a really neat profile to it, kinda like a fat chick with a nice shape, hahahaha, any way Im enjoying the car already and the amount of reciepts that came with it is staggering, Thanks again.

Currently it has the I think 190 hp 5.7, it still feels pretty responsive, not the Q but thats OK cause I have things in the works for the Big Buick.:D

Not yet, im gonna do it after I take pics of the car, seems like a nice forum, cant wait to dig in, I took the guy for a ride in the Q after he dropped the car off to me, he couldnt belive how the car moved from 70-130, he said that it felt faster than his NorthStar, I have never driven or riden in a NS equipped vehicle so I dont have any coparisons, how do they run compared to a excellent running 91Q?

Ive never ridden (when it was hammered) in a northstar powered car either.... However, launching is a HUGE problem, and you gotta be really good, because just a little too far and you spin the tires..... I was gonna take one for a test drive earlier this week, but the dealer sold it..... :(

Now I'll have 2 Q45 guys to back me up! w00t.....

It would be a farily even race, but I think from highway speeds the Q would win.... OTher than that it would be close.....

Caddyforums rock. The interface is crap but it grows on you like a recurring pimple.
