Never said I wanted a 240 I want a 300zx with a more agressive look you dont gotta be a hater, funny though your the first person who thought that the front bumper doesnt look better than that little arrow tip front But whats wrong with sniffin paint fumes lolAZ-ZBum wrote:Simply incredible what happens when you sniff too many paint fumes. If you wanted a 240, buy a 240. I think that's the 3rd ugliest "bodykit" I've ever seen on a Z31. But you're well on your way to moving into second place.
Hi was lookin at this ok 1,2,3 already taken care of smooth as baby,s but.As for 4 thats were a side marker light goes and 5 is a natural line in the car that runs down the body and 6 lol was just a drip of primer. Ill keep you updated on body work ill post some pics later this week should be comin along nice.Perrenial Badass wrote:1) Smooth here. This is a very obvious mating point and the overall look will be much better with it gone.2) Smooth this out more, or curve the angle so that it follows the curvature of the front bumper.3) More smoothing here. You may not be done, but it looks like there will be quite an angle here, like #1. Smooth it out by cutting it down, or by building up the fender. Whichever works best for you.4) Ditch the stock turn signals, or get some more up to date ones. The ones from a 240SX or perhaps a Z32 would look good if you replace them. But if the body kit has a place for turn signals (which it looks like it does), use that. Much better overall effect.5) Fill in this little... line thingy. It just doesn't look like it would mesh with the rest of the body with what you are doing. It's basically just there to break up the curvature of the car to make it look more interesting, but with the side skirt you have it isn't really needed. If you can shave the whole car of it then good, but if not then do the front at least.6) I'm not sure what this is supposed to be, but get rid of it.
I'll photoshop up a post-mod pic in a bit.
No. I'm just the first person to be vocal about it.85300zxQuercioli wrote:

You're kidding right? He's posting up pictures of his car on the internet. He's automatically subjecting himself to opinions, snide remarks, laughter, butt kissing, judgments about his manhood, etc. It's the *** damn internet!evildky wrote:be nice, he isn't soliciting opinions, just sharing a project

I want something thats one of a kind thats why after i spend about 2k more on the body im putin in a RB25DET and renforce the frame.AZ-ZBum wrote:No. I'm just the first person to be vocal about it.
There are plenty of body kits available if you want to search and pay for them. A large number of them are listed on my site:http://www.az-zbum.com/information.body.kits.shtml
How are you blending the 240 kit to the body of the Z31? Fiberglass or is it all body filler?
Everyone one always says to me less work... I know there were a lot of kits but this is what I want to do when I am done no one will have a Z like mine but it does hit the wallet.GTIdude wrote:Yeah dude thats a little too much for my taste.. I'm not hating. But wow. Should have done a Kouki conversion with a TBO lip.. Would make it look alot better and less work.. ; )
If you had bought one of the kits from Japan or Germany, you could have had something unique and hit your wallet while still being less work.85300zxQuercioli wrote:
