Thanks guys. I took them today and steel wooled them to get them very smooth, then put more paint on, so its pretty frikin thick now, and very shiny :)

Vengeance, I took my stock SE wheels, sanded them a little bit with some sandpaper just to rough them up some, made sure they were clean, sprayed them with a nice coat of primer, then sprayed them with this wheel-specific paint I got at Advanced. Its like a slate color, already has clear-coat mixed in the paint, so all you do it paint and you're ready to go after it dries. They look very nice, I recomend doing it :)

Did you make sure to spray them with brake cleaner first?

Do that on the others before you paint. Makes SURE there's no funk that will cause peeling.

I took a large piece of newspaper (just one thin piece) and put over the entire tire/wheel combo. Then took a knife and cut out the circle needed to expose the rim itself, then whatever tire was showing on the outer edge of the rim I put masking tape over. I took my center caps off and painted them as well, except for the Nissan Logo which I taped off, so it stayed the same silver color.

I will clean the others with brake cleaner, thanks AZ. I made sure the wheels were clean but didn't figure I needed to use anything harsh to clean them. Plus even if I primered them really well I figured I wouldn't need to clean with anything that harsh either. Oh well, I'll do it anyway to the other two.

yeah, you got a touch of overspray on one though...

perhaps a light rub with some paint thinner or nail polish remover?

BIG MOTHER F'ING DEAL "YOU GOTTA A TOUCH OF OVERSPRAY...." ;)

I steel wooled them both and got them very smooth, then sprayed them some more with that wheel paint. Its pretty thick now and looks fabulous.

apathy!! yes!!

I hate it when they put them on the outside, I'm all like "comeon guys, put 'em on the inside"

and their like "huh"?

I'll assume they can't get a proper balance otherwise, or I'm gonna be a little irritated...
