Which is exactly why its YOUR car. If you like what you did to your car then keep it up. You asked for our thoughts, did you expect all of them to be good? If you did then you obviously came to the wrong place.

outtowinpahc- you cant see it because it doesnt stick out that far so with the angle i took this pic you cant see it. when you take out the stock intake theres the tube that goes from the top 1/2 of the box to a hole behind the driver side light and another one that goes down beside the duse box. on the other side of that (if you look under the bumper) theres another plastic box there, i took that off and connected the tube to that hole to suck the air from outside up through that hole and into my intake.

I think he was making a joke about kraft cheese and yellow. I can live with the yellow, but please loose the duct work out of dryer vent and dont put a damn spoiler on it please.

dude that no excuse. I stated yourself that you only need a few cheap parts to get it running, yet you buy fake steering wheels, lips that are too short and ebay catbacks. with the money spent on those parts and the time spent on installing them and painting, the car could be running. you would just rather spend money on "cooler" parts instead of boring things like water pumps and distributors. and if thats your style thats fine, but at least admit it and don't act like you don't have the time or money

he will put the spoiler on. its his car, hes gonna do what he thinks looks good. we all go through the phases as car builders/tunerz, whatever you want to call it. i remember when neons were fun, and body kit and rims were the first thing i wanted to do, but thank god i grew out of it. i still like spoilers and if i want to put one on my car, id tell you all to f*** off if i thought it looked cool to me. just cuz you a fam man doesnt mean you have to cut corners and s*** like that, no one is saying that just change that yellow man it will be a lot nicer. have fun with your project.

I know you got some not so flattering opinions, but you did ask. I think the problem here is you're concentrating on areas that are only cosmetic and a bit too flashy (yellow trim) for hardcore S-chassis enthusiast. I think you'd be better served to concentrate on your suspension first, all the other stuff can come later, wheels, spoiler etc. then work on you motor's performance. You could, at least get after-market cold-air intake system, AEM, Injen, whatever, and get rid of the ghetto heater vent tubing. If you have to do it increments, get some high performance wires, plugs, headers and a decent exhaust.

You have time to prep and paint your trim pieces/valve cover, put a dryer vent hose in your grill (you might as well just cut a hole in your hood), black out the center tail light, change gauge bulbs, but you don't have time to replace a cap and rotor? I am done with this thread.

Your build is that of a Honda owner. Try looking up some s13 builds and take inspiration from them. The first thing you should have done is get your car running. Do not get upset over what the members of the forum tell you because you did ask for their opinion of your car. Take their advice. You have a excellent base to build a great car. Good luck!
