I have power windows and the switch(es) on my side will power the passanger and my window once, all the way down, but 5 secs later, and cant bring them back up! But then, my car has to sit for like 2 hours, until I can get back into the car, and the windows will work again to roll back up, and then they wont roll down. A more complicated thing is that I have one of those alarm systems that roll the winndows up when you arm it. So I think that has something to dor with it. I have been trying to go through the wire, and figure out what is loose or what is not getting power. I have found out that the window relay, and cicuit works. So, I think it is something to do with the alarm/window system. Can anyone help me out on this or give me any idea? Thanks PEACE

Try resetting the ecu (via pulling out radio fuse for a few seconds then inserting it back in)I donno if it will work but don't hurt to try

try cutting the alarm from the window circuit(s) and try to operate the windows. if all is good now I would recommend leaving it seperated from the window control cicuits. I know its a real cool feature. but speaking from experiance i have seen to many aftermarket alarm systems cause problems with the factory systems in these nissans.

Hey, good fella, you are right, there is a weird clicking noise coming from the driver side door. I click the button so the window can go down, but it doesnt, and makes that noise. It is coming right from the pwr window module. And Nisteck, may I ask what wire that is? Which wire is the one that is connected to the alarm and power window? I know it is a cool feature, but I dont care anymore. I just want my windows to work when I want them to. Thanks guys. PEACE

Just check the harness into the module, that what mine was, it would click and not go back up but it was just a bad connection. The harness wouldnt stay in properly. Check it out, it may help.

i couldnt tell ya what color wire it would be off your alarm since its after market. but you should be able to find the alarm located under the dash near the steering coloum. best way to go about it is to find the alarm control unit and trace its wiring to the harness for the body control unit located around the same area under your dash. if i am not mistaken its just above the gas pedal on the 240if your 240 has a factory alarm i would just totally remove the aftermarket alarm from the system. and repair all the factory wiring back to oem setup
