Hi guys, I appreciate any help you can give. I did check the archives, but maybe I'm just not smart enough to put it all together. I just changed a blown intake gasket on my car. Now, it idles fairly solid except for a miss like it's hitting a dead plug. In gear, it does well in 1st and 2nd, but 3rd thru 5th it gets REALLY bad between 2 and 3k. And, it feels like the whole thing is about to fly apart. And, embarassingly, it sounds like a Beetle. Never had that problem before.

Put your hand around the header when its running and feel for a gasket leak.

Forgot to mention that she doesn't seem nearly as spunky as usual either. Would an exhaust leak steal power noticeably?
