Hey everyone, I'm fairly new to z32. I've made plans for my 91 twin turbo that I picked up not too long ago. So far, I've had a mechanic do a lot of the work on this car. I don't really have much time to do it. Plus he's very knowledgeable on these cars. So far, power steering has been fixed, a/c fixed. 167,000 miles on this car. I just recently picked up 2 hks 2530 turbos, 3" ams split downpipes, hks gen 2 ssqv bovs. I'm also planning to go with a godspeed fmic with 2.5" piping, sz x pipe, stillen 2.5" exhaust and either an apexi avcr or greddy profec boost controller. I'm also gonna have the steering rack replaced. I'm not looking for crazy power, just something noticeable and fun for daily driving. Is there anything else I should consider? I am also trying to keep the cost down. Since I already have the bov, turbos, and dp, is there anything I can do without. The guy I bought the turbos told me he ran them with a stock tt engine. The steering rack and head needs to be redone for sure. What would you guys consider doing, being in my position ?

I'd do a timing belt kit if you're not sure of the age of your TB. I'd pick up a base tune from SpecialtyZ. I'd drop anything AMS, and go with a different brand. You didn't mention fuel injectors, you will need to go bigger to support those bigger turbos if you're upping the boost. Most will recommend Nismo 740CC. I'd ditch the BOV unless you are going an aftermarket ECU like Haltech that can work from a MAP. If you're talking about head work, then I'd replace the knock sensor while you have it off. I'd do all your deletes while everything is cleared out: Plenum water lines, EGR (Unless in California), AIV, PRVR and Carbon Cannister. You'll probably need at least some NGK BKR7EIX plugs to support the higher boost I'm guessing you'll be running. Lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch will be a must. UR Underdrive pulley and water pump pulley. I'd replace any rubber lines and hoses you can while you're in there as more cheap insurance. You should consider a dual POP setup to let those turbos breathe better too.
