My pictures were stolen by an ebay seller

I haven't done any modding to my car in a long time. Tonight I randomly decided to check ebay and see what was new for the coups and I stumbled upon this.

They stole my pictures lol. Here is the original thread I made posting these pictures.

is this a problem or are you just wanting to let people know that an ebay seller is using your pics without your permission? i would go with what AZhitman said and see if you can get something free from them.

my car's on ebay too, i think LBC used my pics for his tail light overlays without asking me, but i don't care. in fact i think it's neat that a picture of my car is on ebay :P

I did not care before and tried to get a discount or something, but they denied that the pictures are mine. They are claiming the pictures belong to them. Now I care.

thats just childish, lol nope those are not your pictures. even thought the sticker in the window of the car and every other detail are identical.

Take a picture with you in it holding a sign with your ebay username saying "this is my car" haha. Sorry about this though

Get all your buddies to send an email requesting additional pictures o the wing on the same car ... since it's theirs. Be interesting what kind of response they have.

No reason to argue with them, but might be worth sending the auction listing and your thread link to eBay.

If thats the case, threaten to sue them or actually sue them. Whenever you post pictures that you took online they are automatically copy writed to YOU. Meaning they are doing something illegal, you are being nice and warned them to stop making money off your pictures. I would find out who they are and let them know if they dont stop they will be hearing from your lawyer, and this case will be very much in your favor!

take screenshots so you have proof, and document all your emails back and forth between you and the seller as well as you and ebay!
