99 PF.

I jump on the highway and it runs fine.. I get off the highway, down to lower rpms, accelerating from slow speeds and/or from a stop, and it bogs down, hesitates, often stalls when I'm coming to a stop.

I had a similiar problem a few weeks ago, but then it would barely run, if at all. My mechanic cleaned a cam sensor and it seemed to run fine after that for a couple weeks, until I started getting the hesitating and sputtering at lower rpms.

I changed the plugs (PITA), cleaned the cap and rotor, still no dice. Fuel pump is putting out good pressure, fuel filter is new.

I had autozone scan my SES light, I got a knock sensor, and a "1336", which I have no idea what that number even means. I'm thinking of taking it back and having them do another scan, try to figure out what 1336 is.

Any ideas? Could it be some type of sensor? Perhaps the distributor?

Please help!

EDIT: According to the FAQ... P1336 CKP Sensor (POS) Cog

I think that replacing the distributor will fix my issue. That person had the same exact issues I am having.

Is it easy to replace the distributor? Is there a step by step on here? Are the $150 distributors on ebay okay?
