Post

In the past 4 years I have owned 4 240s, 2 Zenki and 2 Kouki. For some reason every time something happens and I end up selling the cars for major loss or some minute profit which is never the intention.

• I never got to post my last Kouki because it was sold right after I got it and then that guy sold it to someone on here who posted it 2 days later. Not sure what happened to it after.

I now get to build a car for myself to continuously enjoy, constantly modify and on occasion surprise the crap out of my neighborhood’s local “fast cars.” I have to give a great thanks to the team at C&S Motorsports for their hard work and patience in dealing with every changing plans and my constant insisting on overnight parts every time there was a snag. Also a big shout out to the staff at Wiring Specialties, FRSport, Raw Brokerage, Turn14 and countless other vendors who shared their knowledge and allowed me to open accounts with them and see great discounts.

This post is about a car that I got from a local guy with big dreams. He bought the chassis, stripped it, bought a R33 front clip and rear sub frame, stripped that and then couldn’t take the next step for several years until I showed up with my pickup truck and a trailer.

When I got the car it was two tone, the previous owner sold the front end expecting to go R33 but when that didn’t happen he replaced the original front end with an almost close enough colored one. The car is now three tone because on the first test drive I was so excited that I forgot to bolt down the hood and it went flying into the air between 3rd and 4th gear.

This is Stage 1. I have included pricing on certain items not to show off but to inform those looking to this swap in the future of the costs involved.
