All,
My next project is a supercharger kit (scroll type) for the Q. I have been in talks with a gentleman out of Arizona (old bike guy, we speak the same language) that has invented a self contained charger that has proven itself to be reliable. Using ceramic bearings and low weight he has kept it cool, light, and compact. He has focused primarily GM rigs, 4.3 to 6.6 litre. But I had a long discussion with him and he is willing to work with me on a kit. His chargers are about the size of an alternator and actually drive off the alternator with a slave pulley with a cogged belt system. Based on our engine size and rev capability he figures that with the the correct pulleys, boost between 6-7 lbs can be attained with control on where we want it in the rev range. He controls it with a relief valve.
That's my teaser so far. I let you know as I progress further
