Okay, I have an '04 G35 automatic. I turn off the traction control, and have no problem doing a nice donut in the empty parking lots.

My problem; I can not burn out properly. I have tried to do a brake stand (like you do in an old Chevy) and tried to burn out without using the brakes. I do have the traction control turned off. However it will not bake the tires. Any suggestions?

BTW, I usually don't drive like an @$$, but would like to do a decent burnout in my friends driveway/burnout box.

The quickest fix is to disconnect the rear brake lamp switch or fuse. The computer will not let you apply both brake and gas at the same time. I've seen a mod that interrupts the signal with a switch installed under the dash...

J/J Beaner... +1 for Joe...hey Joe did you ever do that whole clutch adjustment fix so that we can launch our cars and not worry about it sticking to the floor over 5000RPM?

After I changed the fluid to DOT 4, I tried to launch again....and smoked the tires bigtime! I think I was around 4k, which was sticking prior to the change. Need more people to verify that it works...

Hmmm...try launching at 5000 and see if it sticks...that will tell for sure.

I thought you were going to drill the whole bigger or something like that..

I haven't been able to find good pics of the hole...Not something I'm willing to do unless it's been proven to help.

So it will do the same thing, if I pull the fuse?

Is the full write-up available somewhere?

I don't feel really comfortable hacking the wires until I know exactly which wires to cut, and which ones to tie them back into. My knowledge of relays sucks, and I don't want to eff it up.

Pulling the fuse will do the same thing...those pics are from someone who put in a switch to interrupt the power to the relay...the effect is the same as pulling the fuse.
