well its been a while since i really posted on here thanks to work and my bicycle riding, but i have some time to kill and thought id see what you guys think of my new build. some of you may remember my two tonewell thanks to my pops the chassis was a total loss after he backed into it, so i had to part everything out and start over with a new car. luckily my neighbor down the street had a very clean 93 hatch for sale and for the right price.it was very very clean........and then the madness started lolfirst night i added the normal, seat, steering wheel and a shift knob to make all the honda kids jealousmade out of thisthen a couple of weeks when by and i started getting restless so i started to test fit a few new partsthen i decided the front wheels were gonna stay for the time being lolthen a few weeks went by, broke my collar bone, couldnt work, helped build a car for d1 chi-town.......................and blew the crappy ka up so the stitch welding started....one armed lolhad to do it out side of the shop due to some painting that was going onthen while taking a break i got a wild hair up my butt and decided to do rhdrhd firewall mocked upwelded inblower motor hole movedmocking up the mounting points, low and behold i only had to move onewelded in the cowl pieces, i did it this way so i could keep my factory vinand finished the welding on the engine baythen i stripped the sound deadening to stitch weld the rest of the carand the welding startedfew weeks past and i started painting the engine bayfirewall seem cleaned up very nicelythen i started make stuffz with my brother in laws new welder.anyone that has had an aero bumper knows that there flimsy and dont fit well, so i made this to support and raise the bumper. the onld enjuku car had one and i thought it was a great idea.before(were the fender meets the bumper)aftercouple of days later i put the engine bay back together and now... the best part of being rhd......beside the fact that i dont have to fight with the down pipe anymore lol. i can fit an s15 interior in my car!this is just mock up for now

thats as far as i have gotten but there is alot more to come. im going to finsih off the outside with 30mm widebody to fit my -20 rear wheels, a rear diffuser inplace of the aero bumper and some sort of wing. inside i have a cusco 6 point waiting to be modified with door bars and be painted. also my rb20 just came in last week, so i have to pick that up and order all kinds of goodies. check back for more updates, and id like to thank my sponsors Dewey at JDMhookup here in St.Louis for all the help, and Don and Yamato Garage for the suspension and other parts. happy new years guys!!

Brilliant!

What an amazing build... Love the bumper support (I need that!)

Think this might make a good multi-part featured article series... Great work, OP!

they look like diamond racing.

http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/

they have tons of offsets and sizes but not everyone finds them aesthetically pleasing

Thanks Mike - Great work! Keep the updates coming, and we'll start compiling it into a feature soon.

p.s. Feature articles on a site this big are a great way to get attention for sponsorships!

Awesome

I figured they were either that or Circle Racing wheels. But I don't think Circle makes them quite like that.

S15 dash OMFG! I like where this is going. How did your collar bone broke, what were you doing? BMXing?

fark yeah! you can have custom sized steel wheels in 17", any Fukking backspace you want! I just don't get how they use inches instead of the more popular offset nomencalture (at least popular on nico). steelies with mad lips.....

well i got a little work done tonight. i only had abotu an hour to do anything tho because about the time i got to the shop the snow kicked in.

i forgot to mention that im planning on running a hydrolic ebrake for the breakin traction times, i made a little mounting plate up and welded it to the transmission tunnel. i would have bolted in some were but every kit i see goes in the center console area and im NOT cutting that up, nor am i mounting it to the floor. i made one of these for a good friend of mine and he loves it. cant wait to put it to use.and yesterday i mounted everything up minus the center console and kick panels. put the carpet in to see how the panels would line up( it was looking pretty tight without the carpet) and it fits perfect!!!and being that the donor car was a Spec-R it had the A-pillar gauge. after looking it over i decided that i like my apexi gauge better so i replaced the factory one with the apexi one.thats all for tonight. thanks guys for all the awesome comments

troskinatior i miss my old car soooo damn much, but shes still alive, one of my good friends bought her and brought her back to life as his daily and hopefully soon he will be slapping a new OEM paint job on her.

safin when i broke my collar bone i was doing something similar to this
