okay so i have a 93 fast back with a rebuilt ka under the hood..nothing is hooked up yet still need the bolts which one of my friends have nicely tucked somewhere I can't find. but I am going to be hopefully getting a daily driver soon94 v6 stang(sucks but it would make a good dd) which means when I get my 240 running it will no longer have to be a daily driver. SO I was trying to figure out if I should stay na and just get intake, header, exhaust. or go ka-t from what I have read(i read before i asked) it seems like I could pull a good 250 or so horse s from the engine if I do everything right, well I was just trying to figure out about how much it was cost total to do a decent setup shooting for that goal and things I would need past the obvious (turbo, intercooler, exhaust manifold, all the piping) I know you probaly get enough of these questions and all but I am still trying to plan out how I am gonna save the money for the stuff and how long it will take me too save..considering my ka is in pieces rightnow I honestly need to get it running but I am stil trying to figure this stuff out for the future of my 240

First off get a better daily driver! Unless its free or something. lol, man.. Found On Road Dead... Anywho..

It really depends on your goals for your car. Your questions are questions you need to figure out for yourself. I could say you should do this and this but ultimately its your call and no one else can make the decision for you.

For a decent setup you wont spend less than 2500 once everything is set and done. Thats if you do all the work yourself..

P.S - Read our Ka-T stickies at the top of the forum, you really need to do a bunch of reading before you ask questions, you will look a lot smarter.

get boost... it's 100x more fun driving, and easier to attain you wanted rwhp goals...

the ka-t have more torque, but im still a fan of the SR. tried and tested. and you dont have to worry about internals or any aditional costs if you get the swap from a good company. might be a little more pricy, but i think in the long run its better. (just my opinion)

Well thanks for the advice..and the stang might as well be free it is cheap enough..as for how much it will cost I know my car might be sitting for a while but it is a fresh engine so it should be able to stand 8 psi of boost I would think for a long time as long as I get it done right, and my dad is realy good with cars so we would be doing most of the work ourselves

thanks again for the advice
