Sup all, I'm due for a noob post. And while picking around trying to get my intake manifold off for cleaning, I stumbled upon a plug that was behind the alternator and below the oil filter. It wasn't connected to anything and I was wondering if that could be a problem. My car had the AC removed tho so maybe it's just left over. Here's a pic: any halp would be appreciated!

that looks to be the oil sending unit(for the oil light thats in the dash, which btw only turns on @ 5psi or so, pretty much when the engine blows up due to oil starvation) if its the plug right next to the oil filter.
