My nissan 300zx project (Hit by drunk driver)

My baby was hit by a drunk driver so i decided to make a post on fixing her up. I paint cars on the side for fun so am doing all the work myself.
A local shop estimated me about $3500 to fix the damages. This is just to fix what was caused by the drunk driver. Am going to paint the WHOLE car for a fraction of the cost including a new front bumper which was not going to be done for the $3500. Ill post up pictures as i get working on the car.

Good luck! Have you checked the suspension pieces for the front drivers wheel yet? I would guess you'll easily need tension rod, lower control arm, upper control arm, and possibly the entire hub/kingpin vertical arm assembly. Also be sure to check the subframe. After my accident the hole for the lower control was warped into an oblongue shape, so it wouldn't have held in place correctly.

Yea ive driven the car it runs good. Actually the car didnt really t bone my 300 it just scrapped the side.

Got me a door and fender from craiglist for $150. The door had minor dents shouldn't take me that long to straighten it up. I can give minor auto body and painting advice if someone needs it,

There are always lots of good deals on 300zx buy and sell z32 page on Facebook if you didnt know. I need taillights and someone posted ones used in great shape for 65 shipped...just fyi

Glad to see that you are ok and that the Z will be brought back to its glory. I do have a very important question though; when you castrated that irresponsible ***hole did you mount his nuts and hang them in your living room or did you just force feed them to the s*** postremoval?
