Hi i had bought a 1991 nissan 300zx z32 2+2
5 speed manual w/ 175k miles and a injen cold air intake
And stage 3 clutch for 1700 with rebuilt headers
At first the car had a coolant leak on the back engine hose but i had the owner fix it and when i came back to pick up the car and drive it home on the freeway my left front wheel struts completely broke (3 of them)
I understand its an older car but is this an issue but it has a really healthy motor
And it runs great i just had it towed to my uncles house hes a mechanic
The car doesnt have a title though :( because it needs the smog check (california) -.-

They are called wheel STUDS not "struts". Struts are part of the suspension that dampens bumps on the roads.

If the studs had been over torqued(tightened) that will happen.

Easy enough to replace, remove brake parts and punch the old ones out and press the new studs in.
I would replace all 5

Shouldn't be more than $25 in parts. Easily done by yourself.
