A while back I installed a old Dual Brand CD player in the truck and some 6.5 JVC speakers. Sounded better than the original cassette player and picked up stations ok. Well I registered the truck and started driving it this wk. and the reception while moving sucks hard.

Got to looking around at the store I work at and found this leftover bonus buy from Christmas marked down to $80.00 and could not pass it up. Sony CD player with remote, 45wX4 two RCA pre outs, Two way 6.5 190w speakers and two 6X9 300w.

Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?

How are you mounting the 6x9's?

6X9 speakers are loose in behind the rear seat for now. The skill saw took a dump. Plan was for a shallow triangle wood box for ea. behind the seat, not room for much being 6 foot tall. The rest of the install went well & I'll post pics. later. Sounds better than I expected.
