just got this 240sx, its a 1990 and i got it with only 82xxx miles

future plans include sticking with the sohc, turbo setup, coilovers, and just drive it daily

so far i have done the sleepy eye mod, some rust fixing in the hatch, pulling the terrible motel carpet off of my door panels, and a little paint here and there

im not sure how to post images so any help there would be appreciated,

Easiest/fastest way to post images

Go to imageshack.usBrowse your computer for pictures you want to share. UploadGet link codes from imageshack(it generates them automatically)post them here.Sit back and watch.

If you are gonna have lotsa pictures and want to keep track of them, id use photobucket.com But imageshack is way faster.

Some might argue that tinypic is faster than imageshack....but i think they are wrong

THat Sohc looks clean as fuuk.

Whatever you do dont swap out that motor.Turbocharge it if you want more power, but otherwise leave it be.

Very sweet car nonetheless.

keep the sohc!!

so this is actually a barn car, it sat for 6 years in some old guys barn, non smoker car, it has one of the cleanest interiors i have ever seen, there is only a small hole in the carpet and the normal drivers seat wear. when i went to see the car i instantly fell in love and bought it on the spot lol

thats funny cuz i did the same thing.. i got mine off a guy in modesto. i guess he had bought a new car and was ready to get rid of the car. when i first saw it i instantly knew it was going to be mine. one of the cleanest interiors ive seen, besides the usual cracks on the dash and of course the wear on the driver seat. too bad my engine has about 190k and maybe more... the speedometer was not working for a while and the guy didnt know what was wrong with it. he was almost going to change the governer(back when it was still AT)i drove it around without knowing how fast i was going until i had an epiphany and i changed the speedometer cluster... now it works like a champ

no i havent swaped out anything yet. ive just put a strut bar in it for now and lowered it on kybs and srs springs.since i have soo many miles on it im thinking of just going with the NA dohc with forged pistons and higher cams... or stock cams.. its beefy anyway. and once i get the sohc out ill probably build it and turbo it or just sell it. im not sure yet.
