Keep it stock and sell it in 30 years when drift tax will get $80,000. Buy a beater to modify. Thats crazy how clean it is.

it is very very clean but i think 5g's is still way too high for a 89 hatch. If it had hicas maybe. I'm thinking around $3000 to $3500 tops. I don't care how clean it is that is still too much. Granted is is near immaculant the mechanical side has not been addressed. A car that old with that low of miles is going to be a 50/50 for reliability. If the previous owner well maintained it and drove it at least often enough to blow the cobs out it may be ok. I would like to see pics of the bay and see what that looks like. When a car sits that much the cooling system has probubly never been flushed and i would hate to see the amount of corrosion there unless it has been flushed a few times.http://www.nadaguides.com/used...da=-1.

A long overdue update: For those of you asking, no not a spec of rust on the entire car, not even underneath. It has been driven in the last couple summers, and stored through the winters. I Installed a Greddy grex shift knob, still have stock wheels. This spring the car is most likely getting Enkei J10's all around and some falken fk-452's. While slow at work I took a sock valve cover that I bought for 10 bucks, cleaned off the stock coating (which looks like truck bedliner), and had it powder-coated gloss black for free, ordered a new valvecover gasket, and a polished aluminum Nismo 710 cap. I polished up the fins and lettering on top of the valve cover and it looks really good. Sorry bout the posting draught, Im attending my apprenticeship training atm so i have alot of free time, but sadly cant post any pics

As always I learn more every day from useful posts on Nico

If you touch those door cards you should be slapped. Get crappy ones to play with.

Nice Find, Weird how a couple of Mint 89's have popped up lately.

I'd just rock a sexy perfect hatch. Tune suspension but only if you want to. that shift knob look brand new out of box.

So I got a line on a pair of S14 seats from a guy living in my area. Problem is im currently 11 hours away from home, so I told the guy if he's still got em in the beginning of april then i'd be happy to take them off of his hands! :D They are in pretty good condition, the passenger seat has a little bit of wear on the right side of it. (I guess he picked up alot of hitch hikers?) anyways I will most likely get the material replaced with something nice, maybe a black-grey combo. What is a good material to use for this? Something that doesn't wear excessively, but looks clean as well.

Amazingly clean, keep it and barett jackson that car in 5 years when they finally auction off some cars with independent rear susp :P

If it had the factory radio, perfect! Wonder if u got the valet key if it had one, and the sunroof bag if it has one either?

Choose wisely with mods on this one

That is one clean 89 . I say don't go nuts with it. That car is extremely well kept for a 21yr old car. For the love of god don't drift it, the clean look will not last long . I'm willing to bet that you put that car in a car show it would win something just on the way it is was so well preserved over the last 21yrs.

I'd put some old school (and well refurbished) Watanabe rs-8's on that bish, and call it done. Maybe because I have some I started refurbing years ago but, eventually sold my 4-lug s13

Installed a valvecover that I picked up for ten bones and had it powdercoated black w/ nismo 710 cap (Powder coat job was free btw)

And then just so you can all see, heres the inside of my stock valvecover. Been on there 21 years . . . and this is how clean it was

As soon as I sell my bike, then my baby is gettin new rubber and wheels.

Dude, sexy as hell car coz it's clean. If i were you i'd buy a cheap s13 to mess with, I guarantee that when this drifting craze is nearing its end and all s13's have been crashed, yours will fly to the moon in value.do not mod it please.
