LOL I was given a new shift knob for Christmas, and when I put it in I realized just how bad of shape my shift boot was (torn and what not). So, while I was waiting for my carpet to dry (I was shampooing it) I found my old shiftboot from my previous civic. Well, with a little effort, I now have a fairly new black shift boot. w00t! Its from a 7th gen civic and I guess you could add this to your parts interchangeable list LOL Oh well, thought this was kind of funny.

Bad idea daunt. This can lead to burns of varying severity depending on your paint color. Black can cause pretty nasty ones. Also, the fingernail gouges she's going to leave when she goes flying off the hood are a bit tough to buff out. Try Meguiers ScratchX. If you have a carbon fiber hood though you're pretty much screwed. Leave the naked women in your lap where they belong.

LOL You guys are too funny, besides she has a cold and it wouldn't help her any with the weather being the way it is.

just remember, the naked girl goes on the civic, not vice versa.

a shift boot can't be all that hard to make, can it? I mean pick up some leather, any color you choose, and then just cut it and sew it to match....i wouldn't know how to sew it, but i'm sure we all know someone who could.....it just don't seem like something worth ordering if it can be mad so easily....

i bought a yard of white vinyl (8$...enough to make like 10 shift bootS) and i got my grandma to make it for me.She traced out the old shift boot, and sewed it with a sewing machien. took all of 10 minutes and she made all the stitching exactly like the original

Go Gramma... Go Gramma.. Go Gramma

p.s. Ryno - Unless she weighs less than 60 pounds, she's gonna dent the Civic hood.

Get her off the car and put her a$$ in the kitchen where she can actually do some good. :D *HITMAN ducks*
