I'll be getting these on Monday... already paid for and ordered. I'm thinking that it may be too much chrome and might powdercoat the spokes black or gunmetal or something but I'll have to wait and see what they look like on the car first. Anyway, here they are... what do you think? Also, they're 235/45/20... think I'll have any rubbing issues or anything?

shoulda asked before ordering if you are looking for opinions lol... regardless i dont like them, the fake rivets are first...

2nd.. you bought them... and are asking if you will rub? Should ask FIRST... whats the offset of the wheel? Im on 245/35/20s with a 38 offset

Yeah, the picture they had at the shop wasn't that detailed... didn't notice the rivets were fake until you said something... thanks a lot! lol

As far as the offset, the guy just told another guy on the phone what kind of car I have and that guy said they'd fit. If they don't I'll try to get as much money back as I can and go somewhere else... or buy online with a setup that I know will work.

I hate to see someone suckered in... And you should only be buying online... a shop will just add $$ to the bottom line...I got my 20's delivered for 650 and the tires delivered for another 500

Id sugguest starting with ebay... but if they misrepresented the wheels.. and the pic was crappy... id call them now n tell them to cancel the order rather than have them shipped.. because all the shop did was call up a wherehouse and is having them shipped.. once they ship... i doubt your shop will issue refund... did you get them on a credit card? mind telling how much you paid?

Yeah, I got it on a credit card... total was right around $1850... Dang, I guess I can call and cancel my order... can they put the money back on my card without me showing up? I'm at work and wouldn't be able to get in until tomorrow...

Those things look heavy, do you know how much they weigh? If you're having doubts about it, hurry and cancel the transaction before it's too late.

I'm not really having doubts... LBC just made me feel a little stupid!! I kid! I kid! I'm an impulse buyer... it's what I do. If I don't like them I'll look at getting them painted or something. I'm gonna wait and see what they look like on the car before I make a final decision and if it comes down to it, I'll eat the $1850 and buy another set of rims after I get enough room back on my credit card! I love being irresponsible with money!

Altima Joe,

235/45/20 ?????? Absolutely not!!! Those are waaaayyyyy too big!! They are almost 2 inches taller in diameter than the stock wheels. Not only may they rub, but the larger diamter will cause your speedometer to be off by a bit... When you're doing 60, it's only gonna say you're doing like 55... your tires will under-rotate alot!

Also, you HAVE to know what the offset is on your wheels before you buy them. Don't ever settle for anyone telling you "they will fit". Especially if you plan on lowering your vehicle for better handling. :nono

Impulse buying can be problematic. In any case, I'm really hoping you mixed up the numbers and the tires are actually 245/35/20... I don't think I've ever even seen 235-45-20 before!

In regards to the wheel itself, it's not my place to say whether I like it or not, its your wheel, do you.. but you GOTTA at least make sure the setup will fit BEFORE you buy it!

I could be mixed up... it might've been 245/35/20. My receipt as at home on my coffee table so I won't be able to look at it until I leave work for the day. Well, if the size IS 235/45/20 I'll make sure to let them know that that won't fit on my car and that I'll need my money back. Hopefully they know what they're doing and I don't run into that sort of problem.

As for impulse buying being problematic... tell me about it. It's why my credit card is almost always near maxed out. I leave just enough of a balance for a plane ticket in case of an emergency back home, anything below that mark is, to me, as good as free money (even though I know it's definitely NOT free money).

we sell maas at my work and they are very light wheels. but as they are light they are also weak and i have seen many fractured sets come back where people have claimed they have only hit small bumps causing the wheel to crack and they have no impact marks on the sidewalls of their tires. it's a bad sign and usually people don't even want them replaced, they just want their money back.

Now THAT is definitely not a good sign because I specifically asked the guy how strong the wheels were and would they bend/break from bumps and whatnot (I'm not the best or most attentive driver in the world) and he told me they were great, strong, and had nothing negative to say about them whatsoever. I guess I know what kind of people I'm dealing with now...

I did a 20x8.5 with a 245/35/20 with no issues. The offset of my wheels are +30 in the front and +19 in the rear with a 1.5inch drop. No issues at all.

That's interesting... as i mentioned, Eduardo's running 245 35 20 on his setup, and his tires are rubbing without a drop. I'll tell you, I just don't believe you. There's no way you're running +19's with 245 35 20, with a 1.5 inch drop, and not rubbing when hitting bumps.

Okay, you guys officially made this impulse buyer second guess himself... I'm gonna go in tomorrow and ask for my money back... I'll let the guys keep $50 or something for them going through the trouble of ordering the wheels/tires... it came from their warehouse so there were no shipping charges or anything. I don't think they'll be able to complain about getting $50 for doing nothing. I'll just wait until I get a couple hundred bucks more on the card and get some better wheels AFTER I get a pro-kit. That way I'll be able to rule out any chance of rubbing altogether.

Thank you NiCo for talking sense into my normally senseless self!! Much appreciated!

I was told that whatever the g35 can ride on.....the altima coupe can too. Is this true or what? Oh and FoxMarketingVersa....LOVE THE RIMS man, nice offset too. I was planning on getting me the same set but try to go with a deeper lip if possible.

It's just not that simple. Can you ride on the rims, YES, can you drop your car with the rims... maybe not. For FOXMARKETINg that says he's running +19 offset in the rear with 245/35/20's... He claims he doesn't rub, even over bumps. And that's with a 1.5 inch drop. If any of you have ever seen a +35 offset on the rear, you'd know that just isn't possible. And if by some miracle he's not rubbing with a 1.5 inch drop, his suspension has got to be so stiff as to cause you to throw up your lunch when you hit bumps. Otyherwise, there's just no room for wheel travel. DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR!!!!

I've yet to see a car that looks right with 20 inch wheels. But if you like 'em...
