Rattle canned? Aluminum spokes and black dish?

Looks good - only thing about rattle canning (if they were) is how the edges will hold up when they are mounting the tires, cause it can chip off easy.

Yea i rattle canned the steelies on this old 1996 suzuki i used to have to offroad, and when i got the tires mounted, it flaked off in spots around the edges. You probably should have waited until after you got them mounted, or now if it does flake just touch it up i guess.

I didnt really care that those steelies flaked a little, they looked a hell of alot better because before they were scratched up and rusty in spots.

These were the factory platinum color, but the paint was bad. So I stripped it all off, primed, painted and clear coated them. If they chip my feeling will get hurt. And I'll loose my temper with the guys there.
Here is a pic of all 4.

I was really impressed until you said it took you 5 hours.... now I am just plain jealous.... I cannot even count the hours I spent on my wheels.... And that was painting them all the same color (they were already mounted so it was kind of a pain to do). Very Very Nice Job Finkle! I ended up doing Alot of sanding (they were pitted pretty bad after 10+ years), also used self etch primer and Duplicolor gunmetal color. Would like to say they look as nice I yours but not possible....

Lol. I appreciate it. Did you see my post with them on? I went to the auto parts store and bought the aircraft paint stripper, sprayed them and pressure washed them off. It took two tries before they were bare. Then I used paint thinner to clean the metal before I primed and painted them. It was a good 5-6 hours.

I want to see yours!

Sure Did, they look even better mounted with new tires and lift etc!!! Really Nice Work!!! Here is link to pic of my wheels painted, was pretty happy til I saw yours.... Planned on using the chrome centercaps but they do not look right with the all gunmetal wheels. Will paint them the same color when I can, need new center cap stickers, funky size and hard to find. Considering wheels are over 10 years old they came out decent, will only be using them in the winter.

Thanks! Finished 2 center caps, they came out well. Still need to find 70mm center cap stickers. May be able to get some originals.
