Finally got around to installing my wheels. Most trouble was involved infinding the right/proper lug nuts. Anywho, although this info is posted on mysite, here are the specs:

Volk CV-Pro Wheels:- 16x7 Front, +35mm offset (+25mm offset with +10mm spacer),14lb- 16x8 Rear, +38mm offset (+28mm offset with +10mm spacer), 15lb

Tires:- P205/55/16 Front (Yokohama Grand Prix)- P225/55/16 Rear (Bridstone Potenza)

The 2nd last picture you see is the hub with the spacer/adapter. The wheelsare infact 4x100 but the spacer/adapter turns 4x114.3 (what the nuts areon in that picture) to 4x100.

And here's the links to the pictures:

Maybe it's me but I find the offset I have now make the wheels seem veryflushed. And for those that are wondering, yes the car will be lowered ina few weeks with my D2 coilovers, and yes it will be washed very soon.

Tires came with the wheels. I have no choice. The front havevery good tread left and the rear are probbaly almost 50% wornso I will most likely toast the rears at an upcoming drifting event.

I will most likely go with a set of 225/50/16 or lowr profile. Thefront tires will and should last me this season (doing lots ofSOLO2 auto-xing).

wait the wheels are originally +25 and +28? with 10mm spacers that makes them +15 and +18 not 35 and 38. is this correct or is my logic wrong?

It's obviously not hard to understand what I wrote. The rims are by spec +35 and +38.

Since I am adding +10mm spacers, they turn into +25 and +28.

The main reason I got the Enkei was kind of a rushed thought. I had gotten mycar and it came with winter tires on oem wheels. Either I spent on a new set ofrims and summer tires or buy summer tires for the oem 7-spokes. As well I hadsigned up for a track event and I wanted to get something fast. I regret buyingthem because I lost a little $, but I'm happy where I stand now.

And after seeing the Volks, they just looked great. And the sizeis exactly what I originally wanted (I would have preferred 16x8up front but 16x7 will do fine). And you can't beat the fact that theyare genuine Volks and are (somewhat) light for their size.

whiterps13: I by no means wanted to sound hostile but you should relax too man.Either you need to brush up on your offset math or you need to realize that I knewwhat I was talking about.

It will be dropped when the D2 coilovers arrive to those whobought them through the group buy.

They'll be on before Apr. 24th for sure because it's when theDriftnation event is.

I'm looking forward to 2004. :)

Smurf: there's a big meet happening on March 25th. Since you live near my area (Brampton) feel free to get in touch so we can go together. I may be meeting up with a few other 240s to go to the event.

You can pay for your membership there. Details here: http://forums.son240sx.ca/viewtopic.php?t=3884

Smurf: What kind of coupe do you have (describe it)? I have seena few around town and wondering if it could be yours.
