not fun for my rear coilovers.... very very bumpy. I slightly blew them.. but it was all fun.. and Upgarage is full of suspension for my car so no worries. gotta race lol. ill see if i can get them re-valved etc first... i doubt it because I believe Kei Office Suspension like Tein HE is not produced anymore.

my "gts25-t" cost 4k

and a 180sx could run about about 1200-3000ish depending on the condition. it varies. things are not as cheap as a lot of people would think.

It's a bi-annual inspection for all registered cars in Japan.

It's a complete car inspection, from drive belt play to, lamps and bulbs working, to your CV boots being in good shape.

I don't know how the military does it, but I know in Civi land, you take your car in for two to three days, they go over the car, note everything and then change/fix what ever is wrong without you being consulted.

This can get costly if your car isn't in good shape.

well the way ours is done.. they don't do anything to your car. they tell you whats wrong. you fix is and or you fail.

for car guys.. our cars are always in good shape, we just have to de-modify it some.. but for the most part, we are fine.

2010 is good. mine is good until then also.

Have not been on Nico in a while as my forum time has decreased ...

cliff notes......

Got down to business finally on the turbo setup. Day 1 started at 1600 on Sunday and terminated 10am Monday.... My fingers hurt badly but Ill be going back out to work until complete exhaustion again lol.

Image

Had to bring the temp of the cast housing up in order to change the properties of the metal so that I could weld on my stainless steel Vband flange.

Image

Image

Image

Don't wanna mess up the clean floor so soon..

Image

My new little paint box lol... didn't want to paint inside the garage today.

Image

Image

Bye Bye Stock... its been a good run but its Ova!

Image

Was shocked that the RB T28 turbo has a T3 exhaust housing flange. Gee Wiz info. Had this been a smaller holset... I could have bolted it right up to the cast manifold if I wanted. This also made running my oil return super easy as I was able to use the T3 return fitting from the T28...(Peter Griffin) "Yeeaaaaaaaa"

Image

Had some unforeseen fitment issues due to my manifold.. If I had more time on my hands.. I would have just sources a new manifold.. but that's not an option.. so whats a Ninja do????......grinds away safely until it fits.... This process took about 2-3 hours alone do to removing and installing every time will all gaskets to insure the fitment is good to go.

I can't fab up the dump until I install my new motor mounts... which requires some modification themselves. Gotta do some research and see how RB's do with atmospheric WG setups..... for Japanese Inspection purposes I think im just going to run the WG into the dump.

Image

AC is no more.. never used that **** as Misawa is Cold 295 days a year. the AC was pissing me off due to how I would have had to route my dump... I Could have bent the hardline...but all that jazz is gone bay is so much cleaner all ready.

Image

Fitment is tight.. but it works. will sand and paint the covers.

Made 383.7whp 433.8chp and 352.82tq at 1.5bar on pump gas. Much space for improvement in the area of timing as I didn't go to aggressive and some more spark plug. Pretty good baseline though.

Performance * Greddy FMIC * Holset H1C * Tail 38mm Wastegate * HKS air filter * CX Racing Intake Manifold * CX Racing Exhaust Manifold * Custom 3in Exhaust * Greddy MBC * GT-R Aluminum Radiator * GR-R Fuel Pump * 65deg T-Stat * Oil Catch Can*Power FC
