Here are some pics of my new turbo that I got from horsepowerinabox.com (Australia)

GT3037R

As you can see, it uses the stock downpipe downpipe flange and a bigger internal gate.

This turbo, combined with my new downpipe, should be a pretty sweet "bolt-in" combination.

I was assured it doesn't hit the manifold when bolted on.Oil line banjo bolt bolts right up.Water lines do not bolt up however, but hpinabox also supplied me with the necessary braided water lines to replace the stock hard lines.

It will take me a while to get it installed and tuned since i'm gonna be moving soon. But it should be interesting.

Bro isn't that Downpipe/Turbo outlet designed for the stock turbo and stock Mani???

Or is that pipe custom for your setup??

Looks badass though!!!

My power goal right now is gonna be based around my stock headgasket. Hopefully close to 400whp. We'll see in a couple months once it's all tuned.

Not gonna blow the motor, I have all the other necessary parts already in: 550cc injectors, PowerFC, professional tune by Steve Kan once it's all installed.

Yes it is, and this turbo bolts up just like the stock turbo, that's the beauty of it. I'm running stock mani.

Well... I'm not sure exactly because I don't know anybody running this turbo/mani/downpipe combo.

But the compressor map looks very nice and fat through the 18-20psi range where I plan to run it.

I'll find out I guess....

im not sure how well the am performance dp will work with that turbo since the turbine wheel and outlet are a good deal bigger than the std bits.you might have to cut off the sealing tube and weld in a divider...

OMG I've got severe compressor-envy. Looks like I'll have to take one for the team and be camera man for this infamous video.

I'll help you put some solid subframe bushings in too when I get my car running and out of the gat-damn garage one of these days.

Spazz - we should definitely hook up this summer either in Des Moines or up by you for some twisty river-valley roads.

Yes Carl, you are right. I'm already planning on modding that DP a little to make it work. It won't require a whole lot of modification to make it work.

yeah definately. I hope we can get some sort of meet together this spring. Maybe at Cedar Falls Raceway or something.

I'd worry equally about the rings... check out Fito's ride (should find it in a search not sure if the SN is right though)

Very nice though... keep up the good work!

I'm assuming he got it with the gb along with that turbo elbow/downpipe combo. I was part of the GB and the last NISMO one was sold, so Ande made me a another one letting me choose a color of my choice (I chose black since it blends well with any other color). I believe they go for 110 plus tax for the coilpack covers.

Also, cdorhout let me know how that turbo/manifold/turboelbow combo work for you, I'm very interested on that set up.

Yeah, that's right. It came free with that downpipe from AM Performance. Part of the group buy deal.

I've since powder coated that coilcover clear, so now it has a wet look and you can still see the grain of the aluminum. Looks good.

I'll definately post up my results of this turbo setup once it's all installed and tuned.
