I don't think those trucks look bad at all personally. How well they hold up though, beats me:confused:

The Ranger is a great truck, Congrats. I owned a 93 Ranger Splash for about 5 years and drove the hell out of that truck and never a single problem at all. I sold it to get the G with 187,000 miles on it and it still ran like new.

My roommate has had 5 Rangers, 1 SHO, 1 GT Mustang. Those are just his Fords. I've only got the Bronco, but 32 year old OHV 302 owns you.

Rangers are solid light duty trucks. Not much to 'em, really. If it's 4wd, check for updates on Tcase TSB's, typical Ford urine smelling AC(no joke) and electric window regulator rattle(shudders on downward path).

haha

after working on them, you'll wonder why the hell you bought one:D

you should try to get you hands on one of the SC's to get a true appreciation for Ford. Start with changing the plugs:D

Do the edge models still have the huge bedliner? That was always my problem with them. The bedliner stuck up like 2-3 inches. Also I say you get a miata. Such nice cars and still in the "Ford" Family :D

Nope, no 3.8. I had the 4.0 V6. There was also a 3.0 V6.

those may be Mazda motors, I'm not really sure on that.

I'm not uptodate on the Rangers.

I just want one with the turbo 2.3:D

^^True(Taco owner myself), but the Ranger is a decent alternative. The Tacomo will hold it's value longer, and will benefit from better fit & finish, but still the Ranger isn't a bad choice, per se..
