Currently getting (as you read this)

-ATI ProCharger w/ 7lbs pulley (bought from NICO SPONSOR http://www.injectedperformance.com/ )-Extensive Crank Angle sensor wire shielding.-Custom Grounding Kit-New plugs, copper, one step colder-J&S Ultra Safeguard (bought from NICO SPONSOR)-Cooling system flush with 70% dist water, one bottle RWW, rest antifreeze.-Tuning will be done on a dyno that simulates real world load even better than the Mustang dyno, reads results even a tad lower than the mustang dyno and clearly lower than dyno jet, but approximates real world engne loads for tuning purposes really well. (forgot the name)

Dropped it off tonite, will start work tomorrow morning.the ATI I am getting, is the C-2 w/ the polished housing.

Since I just got my new wheel/tire combo on Friday , my car will be a very much improved ride over what I drove just a few days ago, as the wheels serve as a great cosmetical improvement, to complement my significant performance upgrade.

They make the car look SO much more aggressive.

Pics soon.

Update:

Tuesday Evening when the car is about to be finished up for mechanical install ( pre-tuning) they discover a bracket is missing from the kit.

Too late to call ATI, a call to Injected has Marty check his in-stock kit, for a similiar bracket to subsitute, but none there either.

Clearly ATI failied to ship these in that batch. So we are stuck .

Wednesday Morning, a call to ATI yields a promise to overnight the bracket (alternative would have been machineshop)

Thursday Morning, while i work, shop waits for bracket, doesnt show up, a tracking number reveals it was sent for 3 pm delivery by ATI.. argh...

Bracket finally arrives 3 pm.

After installation, we missed our Dyno appt which was for earlier..Tomorrow finally tuning on dyno in Morning.

Update and issues. My ATI is pretty loud not just a little loud but , hear-me-a-block-away loud.

Is that normal?

Someone once said, ATI (after running) is cool enough to touch w/o scalding, mine is too hot to touch.

Normal?

ATI has 170 miles on it as of last nite, including a couple of races.

Also ever since it went in, my external temp gauge went crazy and shows between 12-25 degrees too warm, is the intercooler blocking it?

And if so, is there a solution?

my milage has been fine, lost only 1-2 mpg.

Also I noticed my Castrol 5w-40 is not sufficiently thick to run a SC'ed 350Z.

After a couple of street races, my oil pressure dropped noticably below what was normal for an idle oil pressure on my 5w-30 before, so I know the oil is getting hot.

I already have a oil change with Redline 10w-40 scheduled today, but now wonder is Mobil 1 15w-50 isnt a better choice...

Also how bad is it to hit the rev limiter on a SC'ed 350Z?My ATI manual expressely warns against it but a couple of knowledgae folks ahve told me its not an issue on this car as combustions stops not leans out.

I can imagine that note made it into the manual cus they sell ProCharger for a lot of other applications with differnt engine managment too?

Nice Fred, your color choice is sweet to, electric blue is my favorite nissan color

So what is next?? I was browseing through one of our sponsors and stumbles across something for ya.

http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/...hYN=Y

looky the eibach spring kit works with the factory struts, the Brembo brake complete kit with cross drilled , or the stillen adjustable sway bar pair.

Scott,Thanks for the kind words.

My next Mods will likely be upgraded brakes.I want to keep stock springs cuz many folks have camber isses afterwards.I like the Koni Yellows for the 350Z tho when it gets shock chaning time.

I think his next mods will be a Big brake upgrade and a new clutch upgrade.

Then some high flow cats and Stillen/Nismo Exhaust.

As i left work yesterday around 430ish, I noticed your car was parked next to mine. You didnt come say hi! I noticed your intercooler, but I figured it was something else, looks pretty sweet though in these pictures. I also was disappointed to not see you at the ECZA meet. The turn out was decent and the dyno session seemed like it lasted a long time. I only stayed there for about an hour because nothing new had came in.

Seriously next time your at APG-EA stop by.

Lester,

I wasnt sure which office you are in also I was in not one but 3 meetings all afternoon...But I figured parking my car right next to yours would be a "Hi"..

As for the event I was still enroute to the northeast on Saturday.

I think there is something this coming saturday I'll go to that.

Yea I figured you were busy, but when you are here next time, Jeff and I really want to scope out your S/C. So what are the details of the event this weekend?

Lester:

Details via phone or Northeast meets sectiopn as soon as I have them.

All:

Drivability is awesome, all power is completely linear, while that takes away the neck snapping which can be fun it makes the car so usable as a Daily.
