well im 15 and my car just got delivered yesterday and me and my dad gutted the whole interior and cleaned everything. its got 118,xxx on it, 91 se fastback with super hicas, just a lil bit of rice on the "racing pedals" and a tanabe look alike muffler but its decent, the motor puffs a lil bit of blue smoke when i rev the engine and the clutch is worn the hell out also a minor crack in the windshield. and theres a small clicking when i slowly bring the revs up to about 4k. i think its the timing chain because the guy said it wasnt replaced at 100k but gave me the chain anyways, now im pretty sure i need a new tensioner as well. and the best part i paid 2,427 for it cash.

wow, I wrecked my first 240, and I was 18. Now I'm 21 and I've wrecked 3 total! Nothing against you Sideshow, but I'd never put a 15yr old male into one of these cars. They're too damn much fun! I'd have to keep it for myself! Nice leather though man, thats a VERY rare option. If you decied to get rid of them, lemme know, I'll take them off your hands.

Nice car and good luck with it. I have some friends that go to college in oswego, might have to check out a fellow 240 owner's car when I'm up there visiting. :)

super hicas is a 4 wheel steering system, the guy said he disabled it but the red light should be on if thats the case and it isnt so il probably go digging through the fuses after i find a fuse diagrqam.

honda_killer: yea i know what u mean, i spent about an houar and a half sitting in the drivers seat just playing with stuff. if i ever get rid of the seats il let u know haha, id prolly replace them with maybe some subtle looking racing seats brides or sparcos, nothing ricey

rousie13: yea that would be cool, i probably wont have my liscense till the spring and we cant register and insure it until we get a new windshield, but im collecting money any way i can so i can get it on the road.

Super HICAS Stands for Super High Capacity Actictively-Controled Steering (It's a real complicated way of saying 4 wheel steering)

my 3rd 240 was a Super HICAS equipped model, so I'm pretty familiar with them. The only way that he might have disabled it and not have the light on is if he bypassed the rear rack and looped the hoses. Then the light wouldn't come on. I've tried countless times to activate the self diagnostic, but it doesn't work. I just jacked up the rear end of the car, supported it with jackstands, started the car, put it in gear, got the car so that it said it was above 30 mph and started turning the wheel. You will see the back wheels move if its working. It's not great for autocross, but it's a blast on the highway and road racing. (like Solo I)

Wow those leather seats look damn nice. From the condition I see, I'll bet you can make quite a profit on them. I have leather seats too but they dont look nearly as nice as yours. Nice find!

There were gray leather S13 seats, right? I need some...badly. But then I'd have to redo my interior to match:( But yeah those seats are hella (theres that #)(&&in word again) nice. Good find.

His leather seats are black, which is really rare. I have the LE trim gray leather seats sitting in my garage because I swapped in 98 S14 SE seats.

well today i got the car up on jackstands and cranked it to about 40 turned the wheel and the back wheels didnt move a bit, i checked the hoses running from the hicas and it dosent seem like it was looped but i hvaent been able to check out the pump that controls the hicas.

yea the seats are very well broken in, no tears or anything, i just rubbed in some leather dye and some conditioner and boom,

today i also found out that the fuse for the power mirrors were burned out so a trip to advanced auto and now i have power mirrors again, changed the oil and spark plugs then me and dad went for a joyride with no plates registration or anything but it was sweet. it has no body roll in it at all because the previous owner put in eibach springs and tokicko shocks and new meaty tires has something to do with it to
