Put a Sony Xplod CD/CDRW/MP3 head unit in my Q. Adapter allowed me to keep my factory Bose speakers. I also added a 10" sub & amp in the trunk. Sounds great & even has some bump.

I now have a 6 disc CD changer (for trunk) for sale & another changer new in the box. New one has everything including the mounting hardware. One from my trunk has all wiring & harnesses but no mounting hardware. Email me for pics. &75 for the used one & $100 for the new one.

Hey Mark, what does it look like, under the Sony? Is there a blank, or did you install some kind of storage bin, or cup holder?

The head unit also came with a CD storage slot. Crutchfield is the company I always order from. They include the wiring & all other asccessories needed for install, like the CD storage slot under the head unit. It takes up the extra space & is easy to bolt into place. See the attached pic.

Would it sound better if you hadn't added the woofer? I'm wondering how much my old factory head unit detracts from sound quality. The speakers are near-new factory replacements. I'd love to replace my HU, especially if it looks good and improves the sound. What model xplod did you get?

I added the sub box for more bass. I installed the head unit before the box & amp & it sounded GREAT! I wanted to make sure everything sounded good before installing the amp & box so I did those after the head unit. The link below will take you to the head unit I purchased & site. I hope this helps.
