I've finished my stereo modification from the previous setup. I had a local installer that works on show cars do the work. Now, I can fit a stroller in the trunk

Definitely more functional...and it sounds much louder than the other setup. The subs face the front instead of rear, plus there isn't anything blocking the rear-seat pass-through.

The amp is an MTX 7800 and the subs are MTX 10" 7500.

sweet. those subs throw out some good power. Looks like a seal enclosure, do you know the size? 1 cu ft? I've got my subs in a big slot vented box ~4 cu ft. Its loud as hell, but maybe not so functional.

The problem is I dont want to get rid of my spare tire to mount the amps in. Might have to build a amp rack into the side of the trunk.

Yup, it's a set of sealed boxes 1.5 CU I think. As for the spare tire, I haven't had a spare tire in over 10 years...I haven't had the need to use it.

Joe,

Can you take some more pictures with the sub boxes pulled out, and give me some more details. I would like to do this with my car too since I have 2 10" JL W3v2s in the garage collecting dust.

Any help would be nice. Thanks.
