So after a FEW months being without a 240 I decided I needed to get back into the cars that I love. I started searching around craigslist for about a month until I came across this Silvia. Its a 89 Coupe w/ a Silvia front and blacktop SR. 120k on body and 60k on motor. Clean title and have recites for the swap and many things that have been done. It has everything hooked up (gauges and power steering) but could use a tune in the near future. (Running a T28 not 25)List of few things it has are:FMICT28Tien CoiloversApexi SAFCGreddy BOVTurbo timer

Sure there are more but thats a rundown on the car.

Here is your eye candy (please note the cars paint is in great shape but is very dusty in the pics.

First thing will be 16x8 wheels with a 0 offset (3.5" lip)

Let me know what ya'll think! Thanks

Why do you think it needs a tune? Just having the bolt ons that you have, you shouldn't need a tune. Good looking car though man.

thanks for the complement!the previous owner just said that he recommended a tune. i also want to see what it is putting to the wheels. might do 440cc injectors before the tune though!

Good start to get you back into it again. A tune wouldn't be mandatory but it should help a little.

You don't put in 440 injectors for fun. If the motor is basically stock, running stockish boost, you don't need to upgrade the injectors.

I run 15 psi of boost on oem injectors. That's right around the limit of the injectors. As long as you're not over 14-15 psi, you'll be fine.

Nice 240. It'll look clean with a paintjob. And your stockers do look super sunk in those giant wheel wells but i would advise against getting those XXR's. Seems like a lot of people get this for their first set of rims because they are so cheap but they are not very attractive imo. I like the deep dish but not so much that i'd ride around on something like that. They look like poser Rewind's and i dislike the cheap looking hardware circling the outside. That and the fact that everybody + their mom has them. Take some better pics though after you spray the car off, i would never take pictures of my car in that dirty shape she would be embarrassed. Nice car though, looks like a good start.

Oh are they knockoffs of something else? Thats just what they look like to me. Is the Konig Rewind also a knockoff of the original style of this wheel or something?Rewind:

Okay looks like maybe the Rewind was a knockoff of the Watanabe, so i guess what i meant to say was that they look kind of like knockoff Watanabes to me, but with extra cheap looking bolts around the outside and the spokes look even skinnier/worse. Lol am i right yet? I really have no clue what they are suppose to be replicating i just thought that they looked kind of close to these but much less cool. I've just never liked the way those xxr's looked i don't get how they are so popular. I mean i don't mind people buying knockoff rims and all, but i pick attractive knockoffs at least.Watanabe:

Hahaha Oh how well your avatar matches your post.

OP bay looks pretty good but you should wipe it down and take some better pics of it cause it looks really dusty. Do you get a lot of looks for the Silvia conversion or do people just think its another everyday car since the steering wheel is still lhd?Once you paint it and get some wheels it will look much nicer.

Why is everyone posting pictures of Watanabe RS8, and it's knockoffs, when the wheel the OP posted are Watanabe GR8 knockoffs.

USDM LHD Silvia conversion
Nah i meant because of the fact the the car is lhd peple don't know that he even converted it to a jdm look unless they like 240's. If he had done a silvia conversion and a rhd conversion then people might think it was an imported car. So i was just wondering if anyone even noticed he did a silvia conversion without doing the rhd conversion also.

Edit* Oh i see where the confusion was. You mean i said 'or do people think its an every day car'. And IT IS an everyday car, good call. I meant to say do people think its stock, cause it looks like any other late 80's (everyday)car. People that don't know Nissan's aren't like 'hey good job on the convsersion it fits well', because it doesn't look like a conversion with the wheel on the left hand side it just looks like any other car; was wondering if anyone noticed the Silvia conversion.

wow talk about peoples wheel opinions haha.i want something other than stock and i can pick up those wheels for 375 for all four. seems pretty fair to me.

the paint on the body is pretty fair but could use a polish. I am getting that fender painted in about a week and that would really help the look of the car. I will throw some more pics up when i get a chance... working 10-6 and the sun going down at 5 doesnt leave me any room to give you guys some eye candy.

i will for sure get some good ones when i have a chance.

as far as the silvia conversion in southern oregon. i have seen it on two other cars. one gold and one flat black. all the 240 people noticve it and stop but regular people drive right past...

thanks for the comments though everyone
