Hey guys, so heres my story. I found out about NICO a couple years back and I liked it so I joined, I bought an s14 in pretty good shape, but because of school i never had time or money to put into it, nor the time to spend on NICO. I lived on campus so everything was close, or accessible by bus, so a car was impractical. I sold it for $7,250 to some desperate man in toronto It was in good shape, 180k, but a little expensive for me at the time.

Once sold, I payed off my 'rents for my 2008 Euro trip, and payed my way through living expenses at school for 4 months, bringing me down to about $4,000. I Finished my 2nd year of uni a month ago, and left for Singapore 3 days later, spending 2 weeks in Singapore/Malaysia. Now my bank roll... about 2,700. I know.. I like travelling and cars, expensive hobbies..

So what do I do...?

Spend it on a 240? You bet.

So i picked this one up about a week ago from a guy near vancouver, sort of a rushed sale I was the first one to look at it, and didnt want anyone else making an offer. Me being somewhat new to the technical 240 scene I was a little turned off at first, it was kinda dirty, gutted rear, welded dif, lots of little parts pulled out, as this is my daily driver as well. Yet I wanted a project car, something I could work with and learn. So i said f*** it, listed at 2,900 the guy gave me it for 2,250, including his old blown KA to rebuild if I wish, a stock dif, megan traction rods, and everything else included with the car which I will list:

Mod list:

BM Short shifterAlum. shift knobDrift e-brakePLX Air-Fuel guageC-pillar barFront/rear strut tower barsWelded differentialMegan rear upper control armsK&NMagnaflow muffler/custom piping cat-back exhaust (super loud)

6.5' Infinity speakersRed LED interior lightsPainted black cloth siding/ painted black sunroofRemoved A/C, rear wiper, and washer fluid reservoir

Yes.. this was a drift car/daily driver for the guy, but he took good care of it. He also took a bunch of mods off, as he bought a new convertible 240sx hes gonna drive for a while. He had a body kit, rims, coilovers, gauges, and he had a turbo on this motor for about a month, but the motors still pulls hard and runs solid, no problems there. The current motor has 170k, the body has 215k, this is because he turbo'd his old motor and it blew a couple piston rings (the one he is giving me). So he threw in a KA motor with 170k that he got from his buddy who did an SR20 swap. After a careful walk around, inspection and test drive i decided to go for it, got it for $2,250. After throwing it on a hoist, cleaning it, and tweaking it to my liking I must say I'm very happy with my purchase. There is minimal rust, frame looks awesome, and its ready for me to start putting money into (Once a get a f'ing job because of the economy). This one isnt about looks, just performance so I can't wait to start building! I'm thinking of starting with coilovers, and depending on my money situation I'd love to build that KA :D

Here's some pics what do you guys think?

I'll throw one up of the motor when i get one
