so after looking around for a year i finally found my car =) its a 1990 240sx hatch with 104 thousand miles. pretty much bone stock except for some ebatchi sportline lowering springs and some newer pionier speakers. the car is pretty much rust free with the exception of a few spots here and there but no big super obvious rust. its the sohc engine unfortunately but gotta start some where right? the interior is almost mint. just one tiny rip on the driver seat and one on the back seat. both really minor. plan on going sr later this year  paid 1650 for it. pretty good deal me thinksss

im 17 and curently apprenticing in a body shop so later this year there will be some new paint since the old paint is dull on the roof and a lil on the hood.(exact same color)and im going to refurbish the wheels.(clear coat is peeling) i wana keep the original look of the car make it look like it did when it came out of the factory except with a lil more power :dblthumb:

I got it for $1650 from a guy stationed in kittery maine in the navy . he was from california and bought it there and had it ship out here because he is stationed here for two years. he bought a new coupe so i picked up this one =) its rust free thanks to it being from out in cali.

It looks nice. And there is Nothing wrong with the Single cam. Keep it for awhile.

I am strongly considering it since the engine does run perfectly . i just want a lil more power maybe some headers intake exaust and lightwieght flywheel would help?

ugh... bolt ons wont give u the power your looking for with the single cam, put that money towards something better (sr, coils, wheels) looks good though :naughty:

you can turbo a ka for half the price of an Sr swap. But don't jump right into power added. Do maintenance first, then suspension, and THEN engine work.

yeah save your engine swap money for stuff that will make the car more fun for you-
like good wheels, coils, exhaust, short throw, and maybe some more suspension parts.
ive been working on my section by section..it was a single cam too when i first got it
