It isn't that expensive of a bike. It is a good intermediate bike, very lightweight with middle of the road components. Nothing too terribly special. For a decent intermediate bike and components your going to have to spend about $1,000 which is really pretty decent when compared to top level bikes costing over $5,000.

240kid, the Trek 5000 series bikes are great. Quite abit out of my range. The Madone 5.9 is my dream bike.

Are there any other cyclists out there in NICOland?

Good Stuff ™!! Very nice.

I have an older Cannondale 700 (I think that was the model number) mountain bike and like it a lot. Still working perfectly after 12 years - admittedly of relatively light use. I bought it for about $650 and their current equivalent models are way higher priced now!!

Very nice indeed! Expensive too, right? Some of these newer bikes are more expensive when new than used Q45's!

Wow, $600. That is a great deal. Now the Trek 5200 which I guess would be the equivalent is running about $2,500 I think.

It is a black 1996 Sport. I just bought it this past week from a friend of a friend for $4,000. I thought that was a pretty good deal. It only has 99,000 miles and runs great.
