My New Ride

I've been too lazy to post pics, but I finally got it done. I'm posting here in the G forums because the Z guys seem to be more kids than anything else.

So I traded in the Evo and bought a 2007 Nissan 350z Nismo Edition. 306hp on the newer, stricter SAE standards. 268ftlbs. 90%of the torque is available from 2k-7k. 7500rpmm redline. Car pulls great. I really like the lack of boost because the powerband is so smooth and perfect for auto-x. Dialing in throttle input is very easy and I can hang the tail out as far as I want or tighten it up. It stops great and handles awesome, but I need to get her aligned.You all might see her, but she'll be getting put away in about a month, so long as the weather stays nice that long.

the body kit is stock on the car along with the interior. thats the way the nismo's come

Nismo is about an $8K upgrade. includes wheels, exhaust, body parts, more welds...stiffer chassis, I think Borla exhaust...more zoom zoom.

Nah, this car is plenty sexy. Plus the first two years will have all the problems that need to be worked out. Maybe in 2012 when they come out with a 400hp Nismo version

Thanks G...lolDislikes.....two seats, no where near the trunk space of the Evo (but I knew what I was buying into so they really aren't complaints) and ummmm, she likes to do 80-85 on the highway. She's also too quiet in that I looked down a few times and saw I was going 100 105.....ooops

But very nice ride. Like the red and the wheels... (Needs leather IMHO)

I did get it used, $28,600. 8000miles oh ya!I have leather in my Maxima, its nice an all, but ehhh, plus when racing you slide around more in leather. It burns your *** in the summer and freezes your dingle berries in the winter.

I LOVED the cloth seats when I drove one!!! Liked them MUCH better than the leather seats in the other Z's I drove.
