Awesome start, looks like you have a little bumps to work out. I'm guessing a bad ground on your recepticals. Run your wiring harness first then try running a separate ground wire from the signals to a good ground source on the body. It could also possibly be in the switch itself. You could try unhooking the + wire at the passenger side turn signal and hook the wire to the drivers side. Then turn on the PS signal and see if the light works. If so your TS switch is bad. If that's the case pull the steering wheel and you may be able to check the contacts and fix it. If not you'll need to replace. The 620 holds a special place in my heart because that is the first Datsun I bought. Keep us posted on your progress, you've got a good truck to start with. Ken

yeah good thing my dad used to work as an autobody repair-man so the bumps in the body will be getting straightend out. i tested the wiers and the ground and by what you said the issue is the switch. another one should be here on thursday. i have some progress body-wise but i put a topper on it. i will have updated pics soon. it is a good thing that it is coming because i need it to take my driving test
