Been lurking this forum for a very long time, joined shortly after finding out about the a/c coming out.

I was planning on getting an a/c for a very long time and i wanted one since it came out.

But i recently sold my truck and about 2 weeks ago i bought my brand new 08 Lexus IS250 and boy do i love this thing. Sorry only 1 cell phone pic of it for now, but i think its sexy

All of the above, this car doesnt belong on this forum and I don't know why you would go with a IS250 if you where looking at the A/C. In my opinion that was a bad choice, but its your car so have fun in the lexus forums

I got the 250 for MPG because i went from an H2 with 11mpg now i get about 26mpg. Its not as fast as a 3.5 a/c but the luxury kills the **** out of it, the interior is amazing on the IS, imo anyways...

I felt like posting because i love (loved) this forum and theres a lot of good info and good people and i just felt like sharing sheesh, but **** this ill just stay over at CL sorry i posted anything

Over my time here there have been several members on the Alitma forums that are just looking into buying one (a few have been pretty regular).

So welcome, nice car. but it would look a little better with a fewer doors and a Nissan badge on the front

So you got the 250 because it gets 26 mpg, my 3.5 A/C averages 26mpg. Yea I will agree that the luxury is better. But that is about it. If you wanted a car you could work on a little bit, and have some fun, then you should of got the A/C. Now if you just found out you have twins on the way, then you made the right choice.

Don't get me or the rest of us wrong....the IS is a nice car, but if you wanted luxury and for the price you paid for the IS, you could have gotten the G37.

Also, I understand that you came on here and come on here because you like the forum and all the information it provides, but to put up pics of a non nissan/infinity car here would be like going to a yankee's pregame party wearing a red sox jersey.

Have fun with that car and enjoy it to the max.

I just don't get it... you post a pic of a 4 dr car**** correction, Thanks Spockrock**** in an Altima Coupe forum, and you expect folks to just say congrats....also, while its big brother is a beast, i don't know if the 250 is faster than the 2.5 Alti, forget about the 3.5

I like the IS for what it is but

1. I def would have gotten the 3502. It doesn't belong in an A/C forum

yes actually that is correct Lexus is a US company, Toyota did not have the same prestige here in NA that it did in Japan. Really a lot of the cars that came here were rebranded as Lexus but sold under Toyota, in Japan.

But yes I do agree, it should not belong here but at the same time everyone was a n00b at one point and next time he gets a car it might be a nissan and guess where they might not come nicoclub. Yes he is messed but I think some of the reactions were harsh.

I love Lexus, and I love the IS, but IMO, since he posted it here, regarding price, if you get it stock at invoice, then I think luxury car wise, its a good deal... performance wise, its overpriced... but still, it doesn't belong in an Altima Coupe forum...

Look the only reason i put it on here was because im on here all the time reading about stuff and looking at a/c's and i thought you'd like to see my new purchase. my older brother owns one and i was going to get one, but then i got a good deal on this IS but i guess i shouldnt have posted at all or put it in general atleast...

haha well i drive it pretty hard, basically all the time. and no actually i think the back seat has less room than the a/c and i hope to god i dont have twins at 17
