well theres only 5 mclarens in the world and currently one is being auctioned in cali, so my best bet would be 10 days till I go flying off a cliff at 225.

what's so good about mclaren's? does anyone have any actual specs on it or know anything about it besides that it was in need for speed?

i'd rather just have one of those new ferrari's. 7 speed, get that? 7 of em! but you'd just die an even worse death tino. worse than with a 1000hp 240 that we could create.

i believe on one of the top gear videos it said the mclaren does a 3.2 sec 0-60 and a 6.4 sec 0-100. it has a full carbon fiber body so it's extemely light weight.

There were 250 Mcclaren F1s made, not counting the GT series, a per-order spec racer.

They MSRPd (and sold for) 1.25million USD. Approximately 60 were converted to US spec by the official US importer (look for the front bumper addons and lack of rear seats). Bill Gates owns a pair, as does an unnamed gentlemen here in Houston.

I have a 15 minutes video about the making of them on my machine at home. If you have broadband and you want it, AIM me at SVTLightningBoi and I'll set up an account for you on my FTP.

I think people get confused with the fastest car titles. The title that the McLaren held was Fastest Production Car. So there are a handful of modified street cars that will run with it and even beat it on the street.....I really don't like the McLaren :sleep

My fav ride would be an RMR(?) GT40. Technically it's a replica but since it costs like $75'000 for just the chassis it's prolly better than most street cars.....
