Welcome to NICO!

Also congrats on your purchase. There's nothing like being a Z owner. I can't believe you found a Z32 with only 13,700 miles on it, that's like a brand new car. I would recommend you check all of your basic things (fluids, hoses, belts, battery, etc) as age can cause items to deteriorate. You will want to look into performing the 60K maintence (timing belt and all associated items) as well. As for the hotness issue, turbo cars run warm, and when you pop the hood after driving it, things under the hood will be hot. If what you speak of is an abnormal hotness, like the car overheating, then there are things you can get into that I will gladly help you out with.

Congrats once again and welcome to the best Nissan site on the internet! Post up some pictures once you get a chance!

I'm betting that is a typo. Most likely 137,000 miles. If that's the case you have more preventive maintenance to do than you think. Please verify the miles.

In that case, I also recommend doing the 60K maintenance along with replacing ALL of the rubber coolant lines and also changing out as many of the gaskets as you can. I would highly suggest a new oil pan, new oil pump, water pump, fuel pump, and fuel filter, oil filter...well you get the point..all fluids and filters. It's really easy to do all of the gaskets, hoses, and parts with the motor out...and if you do that, change turbos if you got the cash. If you can do all this, i'd bet it would last you quite a while. I could type forever on what you could do.

There is no stock turbo timer, most newer turbo cars do not come with them.
