Whats up everyone i just want to introduce myself and see what you guys think of my 2002 Q45 Premium. I picked it up yesterday and so far i love it! I'm normally a lexus guy but i saw this and thought for $5500 it was a good deal. I had a pre buy inspection done and they told me the car was very well taken car of but it will need valve cover gaskets replaced. That will cost 350-450$ so I basically paid 6k for it. It's got a clean car fax w/ only 76k miles on it. My future plans will be to lower it,put a nice wheel on it, get rid of the blue tint, dvd player and maybe a few other small things. Anyway i just wanted to see what you guys thought and if you have any recommendations please share.

Looks nice. If it turns out to not need much work, then you should get a lot of driving out of your $6K investment given the low miles.

She's a beaut! We've seen a few Lexus owners buying Q45s recently. Let us know what your opinions/comparisons are.it's amazing what $6k can get you with an Infiniti.

Btw, save those pictures to your computer first... or take new ones because we'll lose them as soon as the post expires/gets deleted.
The way nicoclub accepts images is if they're hosted on a photo sharing site like photobucket/imgur.com first

Congrats on the purchase. I literally just bought an 02 Q45 with 77k two weeks ago. I also am a Lexus guy and currently have a 92 SC400, 02 GS430 and 06 GS430. I paid $5000 for my Q45 that is also the premium package with one owner and serviced only at Infiniti. So far, I'm in love with the car. It drives so smooth and comfortably. The only downside thus far is the transmission lag. I will be taking it to Infiniti soon to see if they can still do the TSIB update. Yours looks beautiful!

So Far i love the it!!! It will need valve cover gasket in the future but thats only 350$. I was looking at a 02 gs430 one owner with 67k miles for 6000$. The guy selling it turned out to be a crook and rolled back the odometer somehow.I checked the carfax and the true miles were 133k. I'm happy to give Infiniti a shot since i've never owned one. I really like this car a lot i'm just praying it does not have any major issue in the future. I have a 650whp sc300 thats a money pit so i don't need want to spend a bunch on my DD. If I could change one thing it would be the interior color to black. This light tan color is going to be a nightmare to keep clean.

Ps. One thing that bugs me is the aftermarket for the 3rd gen seems tiny compared to the 1st/2nd gen.

Congratulations on joining the world of Q ownership! You're absolutely right on the lack of aftermarket (and even dealer) support on the 3rd gen. Probably a result of low sales numbers.
