bay paint - i completely agree, but thats not really practical till i really need to pull the motor

new wheels - yes, but i think they look fine now and the name brand doesnt bother me

steering wheel - thats actually one of my ideas... :)

grille - maybe, but im still not sure if i like the aftermarket grilles, i go back and forth :gotme

thanks for the recomendations though :yesnod

i understand if i was makeing a scene and doing something stupid, but i was simply driving on my happy way and he pulled me, and when i reasoned that a warning would be fair since i wasnt driving stupid, he threatened to have a scene investigator come do a full inspection on my 240.... what a buddy f**ker.... :squint:

but its onlya fix it ticket and my buddy has a stock exhaust that im gonna slap on to get inpected.....

then throw the straights right back on :)
Lol. I never had this problem with my BRM on my S14...I lived on pendleton for close to 3 years! Where do you work at?

i work up in camp horno (53 area) and live down in housing by the maingate

pmo has been getting really stiff on "illegal modifications" lately, like window tint and tail light covers.... and obviously exhausts

i just drive certain roads when i drive on and off base and never drive my car on bases unless i absolutely have to... :tisk:

the worst part is im not even registered in CA...

well i finally got around to swapping out the motor mounts and the power steering pressure hose

Image
Image
Image

the motor mounts are great, it really made me realize how much the oem mounts flex... i am very satisfied with the final result....even though the install was a pain in the a**...

the chase bays hose is top notch quality, very simple and a great solution to any leaking pressure hoses.. you can beat 65 shipped :dblthumb:

the old pressure hose and mounts (straight to the trash can)
Image

i also picked up a cheap set of mirrors off ebay... i hated my old mirrors, so these arent bad

Image
Image

my pbm skid plate came in too... i love goooooolllldddd
pretty baller imo
Image

ill have pics of it installed in the next week or so :)

previous owner had bought power folding mirrors, but never wired them...

and adjusting them by had was no good, they only went to a certain angle and i couldnt see out of them

so i got these as a replacement... i think they look good actually :gotme

That set-up will work very well for those numbers. Im running a very similar set up and I love it. Good luck.
