well i got the hks ssqv series iii bov, and i love it

i also ordered the cs hot pipe with pre welded flange, the pipe was great, welds were great, but fitment didnt like my current piping, so it took a few hours of cutting to get it to fit and close the hood...

it sounds great :bigthumb:

well i got a modified exhaust ticket today, and what made me so p*ssed about it was that it was from PMO ( military police)

i understand if i was makeing a scene and doing something stupid, but i was simply driving on my happy way and he pulled me, and when i reasoned that a warning would be fair since i wasnt driving stupid, he threatened to have a scene investigator come do a full inspection on my 240.... what a buddy f**ker.... :squint:

but its onlya fix it ticket and my buddy has a stock exhaust that im gonna slap on to get inpected.....

then throw the straights right back on :)

ive considered it before, but i really like the clean factory look, and this car is driven on the streets, and most people with street driven aero are very haggered and beat up, and im not into that look like some are

so i think this is it aero wise for current moment

It's good to hear the car will stay clean.
I like OEM with tasteful mods.

so a buddy of mine owed me like 20 bucks, and he was broke and rather than paying me wanted to give this, a SS megan manifold, its in good condition for being used....BUT.... there a bolt broke off in the inlet flange and my buddy had already started to try and drill it out :frown: and stripped out the threads :ohno:

so i drilled it out and am working on it in my spare time, and well see where it goes. the pics arent the newest, i got the remainder of the bolt off now,

well i think what you are asking is more of a intercooler brand specific question. mine acutally mounts to the hood latch. its actually perfect the way its set up and i love it, very study! underneath i have two brackets to the rad support. it shouldnt be hard to raise it with a little bending here and there... :yesnod

heres a pic i snapped real fast to show my top bracket..

so yesterday i attempted to swap out the manifold, it didnt go so well

i got all the nuts loose except the 4 from the stock manifold to the inlet. it just wasnt happening. it is way too much of a PITA to do this with everything mounted in the car. so ill put it back on the shelf for a while, maybe sell it if i get enough, well see :gotme

Selling it won't be bad since it was free.
Can anyone else see the face in the smudge on the stock fuel filter (second pic)?
