Today is a great day for me. After 1 1/2 years I finally got my project car back. It's a 1988 Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo. This thing is a little pocket rocket and although it's a FF, it handles quite well considering how cheap of a car it is and how outdated it has become. I had to give it away to one of my mother's friends a while ago because she needed a vehicle but now she bought another car and I get to start the project I let go for so long. I was initially planning on upgrading the turbo from a T-05 wich comes stock to a T-06 and install a small FMIC or, if it would fit a small TMIC. However I'm just going to swap in a 4G63 engine from a Lancer Evolution III, or if my contact can't get a hold of one by the time I need it, I will try to locate one from an Eclipse GSX. This thing should haul *** by the time I'm done with it. This doesn't mean that I am letting go of the S13. She is still going to get the KA24DET sooner or later; it's just that the Cordia needs my attention desperately. First thing: new brakes, suspensions, racing seats and a steering wheel because the interior came back looking like ****. I will keep you guys poster on the upgrades as they come along. These are a few pics I have taken up to now. Enjoy!
