So, first off, I got a 240SX! I got it for Christmas, and I just haven't gotten around to posting a thread on it 'till now. It's a '90 240SX Fastback. It's a 5-Speed, has 125k miles, and is in pretty good condition.
The interior is in great condition, aside from a sewed tear on the left of the driver's seat. The stereo is a bit messed up (it pops and crackles and makes other noises when I turn the volume knob), but it works. I'll replace it eventually. The air, hot or cold, still works just fine, and surprisingly doesn't take very long to warm up.
The exterior is in great condition [for how old it is]. There aren't any noticable scratches or dents, and the paint is still very good. The lights flip fine, and the only problem with any of them is my hyperactive left blinker.
Mechanically, it's pretty good far as I can tell. Idle is a little rough on occasion, but always smooths out. Muffler sucks though, 'cause the guy who owned it did a ghetto muffler fix-up. He cut holes in the back, put two water pipes (I think) in there, and put plates around them. It rattles like crazy and sounds pretty bad, not to mention the exaust leaks everywhere. But I can live with that for now, though it's the first thing I want to fix/replace on my car.
I look foreward to having fun with my first car, and now being a part of this forum's community.
