My new mufler (vid/sound included)

Had my Flowmaster 40 Delta muffler put in. Honestly, I can say that I amsomewhat disappointed with it. Very disappointed. :x

It drones like mad at 3000rpm, which is like what I cruise at on thehighway so its gonna be a real *****. And it has a can soundwhen I rev hard in gear.

I'll prolly live with this sh*tty muffler for a while and get somethingelse next year if it totally annoys the hell outta me.

it doesnt sound THAT bad, honestly in the video you can't hear it until you nail it, but yea at high rpms, most of those mufflers do sound somehwta like a can, i guess all you can do is get another one sometime,or try some kind of silencer or something??

I think it sounds good, more like and intake roar to me. My friend put a glasspack in his piping and that quieted it down a little. For the road nois i have heard of putting dynomat or other sound deading stuff on the metal above the muffler

My friends muffler was really loud when he put it in but after a while of driving around on it, It quieted down, some.

I do remember telling someone on here that asked about the 40 series that it would sound like crap at high RPMs...

I guess these mufflers do wonders for the Mustangs and Camarosbut do **** for the 240. I'm regretting this purchase, but I'mgonna live with this mistake for a while. Maybe get somethingbetter sounding next year.
