I got it with 6 miles on it. It now has 56 miles. Yes it was brand new. I was driving through the dealership last Friday night and a semi pulled in with a white I35 with the sport package on it. It came off the truck and I was able to match the VIN. I was going nucking futs all weekend waiting for it. It is my little :icesangel . Thanks for the welcome.

Alright! Glad you guys are here! We need some more I owners here. We could use some more Maxima owners too! Welcome to NICO! For a national board, NICO has some of the coolest and friendliest members I have ever seen on a message board and I have met some really great people from here.

Be sure to check out all of the other forums too. We have some of the best Nissan and Infiniti technical and engineeering information around!

Tony said it! I haven't come across a friendlier and more tight-knit group of people than here at NICO.

Welcome guys. I love those I35 rims! Definately nicer than the ones on my Max. Hopefully I will find a set of 18's off a '04 ;)

John, yes, this place is great! IMO ( biased ), I think nissanX is friendlier - LOL

Welcome,

The I35 is a beautiful car, especially when you park it next to the new Maximas (No offense, just my opinion).

I bought a 2000 I30t Sport, December 22, 1999 It had 6 miles on it, as well.

I ordered it in September, and it took them forever to find it. I specifically ordered the Sport touring package, to get the CD changer, heated seats & mirrors, the rocker panels, and the rear spoiler. My wife wanted black with black leather (She has only had 3 Maximas black/black). The car arrived on my wife's birthday. The dealership put a big red bow on the roof, just like the stupid Lexus commercials. I took Evelyn to the dealership, just to look around, and they were just pulling it out of the garage, when we were pulling in.

The dealership could only find one in the system, and it was special ordered for a Dealer's wife in Chicago. It came in on a boat, took a train to Chicago, a truck to Nashville, then a truck to Montgomery, AL. The dealer's wife got a Q45, instead.

Last year, I bought a set of 17" chorme 2002 I35 wheels, off of eBay, and added the K&N flat filter, and a Strut Tower Brace to the car. (The STB is a great investment - check eBay).

It now has 35,000 miles, and gets washed every 500, or so.

If I didn't have a Q45, it would be my favorite car.

My co-worker has an '00 I30t as well. His is the sand/gold color with tan leather, HID's ( looks like HIDs at least ), etc. Pretty nice car and I like those rims as well ( 5-spoke 17's ). After driving my Max, he wished he had bought a I35 tho...:D

As a NICO member? Ha! That's a joke. He's one of those "what does a suspension do?" kinda peeps that don't really care about cars. He got the I30t just to have something nice to take customers out to lunch with....<shakes head>

Try getting your oil change at a Nissan dealership for $7.95, AND having them detail it, while calling you "sir" & letting you have a loaner car all day.( I signed the arbitration agreement, and get oil changes labor-free)

The Infiniti dealership in Montgomery, Alabama schedule servcie "appointments" on 15 minute intervals, and they call me by my name, when I show up. I have been given a brand new 2001 QX4, an brand new Q, and have been promised a brand new G35 coupe, on the next servcie visit. The absolute worst car I have been given was a loaner G20t with 10,000 miles. Most of the time I get an I30 or I35.

The Nissan dealership acted like I was lying when I told them ny brand new Maxima pulled to the left. I had to take it to them twice, and insist on an alignment, after waiting in a long line of Pontiac and Nissan customers. No loaner car.

I crunched the numbers, and the $1,500 more I paid for the I30t over a Maxima SE, was worth it. In 1995, the $9000.00 premium was not.

I fully agree with the service differences between Nissan and Infiniti. I hate Nissan service. That's another reason my next vehicle will be a G35c....
