Here are a few pics of my 1998 Q45t which I got about 2 months ago.

80k miles, Black, Beige interior, Bought at Infiniti South Bay (had 76k), clean carfax and full service history.

Things I've done: tint, Nissan Cima GT grille, weekly detail, 2 secondary O2's.

Things I'm gonna do: Tein S-Tech springs in about a month, Impul or other Japanese shocks/struts, K&N drop-in and a different muffler (still single, with dual tips, just fatter dual tips and a poiished S/S muff) and some nicer 18 or 19" wheels.

So here are a few pics, for more click the link in my sig!

Purty, is the "badge" on the grill removeable?

I see your Y33, and I think I could keep mine and get a Y33, instead of goin after an M or FX in a couple of years.

Thx!! Yeah, I think the badge comes off easy, but I like it "Grand Touring" with red and blue stripes and the way the G in grand and the T in touring line up is pretty cool.

I was just thinking the same thing - BLACK Y33 with all the goodies would be a hell of a lot charper than an M... :)

Nice looking car, and better than your dream car, by my tastes. Not too crazy about the Grand Touring script, but it is distinctive.

Thanks for all the compliments people :) ! I know I need bigger wheels, I'm looking into a few different options right now.

Wes, I can sometimes get stuff on yahoo japan auctions. My wife is from Japan and her whole family is there, so I can get stuff through them, but the easier way I did it is through a guy I know in the Military over there. He married a Japanese gal and they bid/won/shipped for me. I used pay-pal to pay him and since he's on a US base, he can send it USPS. If you find something, let me know and I'll see if he's willing to do it again. Maybe this could become a luctative side business for him lol.

Hitman, "charper" must be your new word, a one time easy use word for CHEAPER and SHARPER! Nice!

I agree with 1der, you could use some bigger rims, like the ones in your sig of the cima.

Falk,

Is your equiped with HID? Or did they add that in the anniversary edition. I really like the anniversary edition lights.. have you thought about jdm lights, or are you content with your current lighting setup?

Here's an FY33 question... is it possible to swap out the trunklid for a 99-01? You could have the 99-01 look of smaller tail lights.

It doesn't have HID's, but it has BRAND NEW headlight units. I noticed on a few of them I looked at, including this one, the lights were very yellowish. When I went back in to look at it again, they had put the new lights on, so it really makes it look like a new car. I was also really suprised how bright and white they are.

Also, the front bumper looks exceptionally clean, and has never had a plate mounted on it, so I'm gonna see how long I can go without it (fingers crossed!)

And I know, I know, I need bigger wheels!! I Photshoped it with a drop though, and the reduced 4x4 fender gap makes the current wheels look much better. And without a doubt, when I get new wheels, I'll sell these on here, ASA by BBS.

I'm not sure I ever know they changed the taillights...

I just remember not likeing the Y33 much, until I saw the anniversary edition... They really made some nice changes..

although now I like all Y33s... espically when the JDM components are in play

That's how you can tell the 97-99 from 00-01, the taillights.

Anniversary edition HL's were beautiful, but only on dark cars. Falk's is one of the prettiest I've seen.

God that paint looks pristine! Really like the look! How much $ did the grill run you? I'd be interested in one if you had a connection. (I'd likely drop the GT tho...) That car ties w/ a dark silver anniv. edition 2000 as the sharpest Y33s' I've ever seen. NICE!

Again, thanks for all the positive feedback. I really love this car and look forward to getting it where I want it to be. I'll be doing an engine flush and fill with Amsoil on Saturday, and I'll clean the TB and MAF too.

Quote »Falk's is one of the prettiest I've seen.[/quote] /\ = Thanks! *Blushing!*

I got shat on by some winged rats last week, even though I got it when still wet, it left "oil slicks" where it was so I clayed the hood, roof, and trunk, then polished it. Came out pretty nice, and hardly a trace left from the flying nemisis bastards :aug2

oh I've thought about getting one for it...

I probably will the next time it gets plugs and wires.

six plugs and wires should not take 6 hours.

I've had quite a few requests for items off of yahoo! Japan auctions and this is my plan. The wife and I have talked about it and think we may be able to make a nice little side business.

1st, you need an address in Japan to ship to: we have that. 2nd, you need to be able to read and bid, the wife's Japanese, so we have that. 3rd, we need to be able to get items shipped over here: her parents can do that part.

So any of you guys looking for hard to get JDM goodies, let me know what you want, we'll quote a minimum price, you paypal us the money and we'll start the bidding wars.

Shipping will be added to the final price and bulky/heavy items will be expensive to ship and shipping from Japan can take some time. It took me about 1 month to get my grille, but could easily have taken another week or two (that includes the bidding time).

[email protected] for questions and it may take me a day or two to get back to inquirys.
